With scant resources, a Kelowna musician has stretched her creative ability to make a music video during the pandemic and has been rewarded for her efforts.

Being in the studio is unlike anything else. It is stressful, crazy, and it can take a lot out of you but it is so rewarding.

It all started with a dare from a music teacher to write a hit song. That inspired Megan Freedman to pen a ballad honouring her roots — which is now sending her musical career to silver-lined heights.
